Friday afternoon, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court issued a ruling that overturns the masking mandate in schools, effective immediately. As a result of this ruling, masks are encouraged but optional for all staff and students as previously approved through MCCC’s Health and Safety Plan.
Students and staff who prefer to remain masked will be supported in their decision to do so.
The Federal masking requirement for masks on school transportation remains in place.
