This funding allows us to begin ordering new dustless sanding equipment, improved ventilation systems and install additional welding booths. This is part of a project to update and make the shop more modern and cleaner.
This project was approved by the programs local advisory committee and the grant was written by our Collision Repair and Refinishing Instructor, Mr. Sherman. We want to thank PPG for supporting our students and helping us create a cleaner, safer, and more industry‑ready learning environment!
We have already received a new ventilation unit as part of this grant and will continue to post periodically showing the progress and updates as they are completed, so stay tuned!
