Aidan Woyt made the Mercer County Career Center proud last week in Atlanta, Georgia while competing in Automotive Refinishing at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference. Over the course of 3 days, he competed against the best in the nation and placed 18th out of 39. His determination and hard work to make it there and compete was a huge accomplishment!! It was an incredible experience that he will never forget. Accompanying him on the trip were his parents and his instructor, Mr. Sherman. Great job Aidan!!!

This week Aidan Woyt travels to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the National Leadership SkillsUSA Conference, he will compete in the Automotive Refinishing competition against the top competitors from each state. Aidan will perform various skills related to automotive refinishing as well as an interview and written exam, which is all scored by industry professionals. Aidan has worked extremely hard for this opportunity, and we wish him the best of luck!!!
