Greenville Rotary recently donated a hydration station to MCCC. This was part of a Rotary project to outfit Northern Mercer County Schools with hydration stations in all of their buildings. This is just another example of Rotary supporting our students here at MCCC.

Give your career a lift in the Automotive Technology program!! Students work on a front end alignment using the alignment machine. Students also drain a radiator and work on rewiring a golf cart. Students learn the skills they need to repair today’s modern vehicles.
Students in the Automotive Technology program service the MCCC School’s plow truck. Students work on the brakes making sure they are cleaned and in working condition. Students also clean the rust off of the brake pads as they begin preparing vehicles for winter weather.
Balance out your options in Automotive Technology! Students in the program work on dismounting and mounting a tire. Justin Ort, a Junior from Lakeview, adds battery acid to a brand new motorcycle battery. Keep up the good work!!

A student in Innovation & Entrepreneurial Development built and printed a soccer ball on our 3D Printer. 3D Printing is the process of making a physical object from a three dimensional digital model. Below are the images of the process.
Innovation & Entrepreneurial Development students work on creating a design of a hopscotch game for our Early Childhood Education class using Adobe Photoshop. The design will then be printed on our vinyl printer and installed on their classroom floor.

Congratulations to our MCCC STRIVE Student of the Week – Steven Varano. Steve is a Senior from Jamestown High School and was selected by his Welding Instructor, Mr. Gilhousen. Steve is a second year student and he is very respectful and always on task. Steve is a leader in the class and is always willing to help other students succeed. Steve currently works for the Jamestown Marina and plans to work in the welding field after graduation.
